Come join us for a wild three-day weekend of American dance and music in the Sierra Mountains. A staff of outstanding callers and dance teachers will lead daytime workshops in dance traditions from all over the United States. We'll also have dance-band and callers' workshops and singing sessions. Evening dance parties will feature contras and squares and plenty of couple dancing, including swing and foxtrot and waltz. All this will be accompanied by an all-star musical staff.

The camp is a beautiful place 5,000 feet up in the Sierra Nevada mountains, near Kings Canyon National Park, 40 miles east of Fresno (about four hours drive from Los Angeles, 5 hours from San Francisco). The secluded camp offers swimming and boating on a private (clothing optional) lake, as well as tennis courts and hiking trails.

Fine, hearty meals will be served on the shaded deck just outside the main dance hall, with vegetarian meals available. Camp runs from Friday dinner through Monday lunch.

Basic cabins, with wood floors, will accommodate about ten campers each in comfortable new bunks, and are handy to the bath house.

A very few deluxe private rooms in the Lodge and in nearby cabins, each with two twin-size beds and sharing a bathroom, may be available for an additional charge of $150 per room.

There are also plenty of sites for tent or RV camping.

We will facilitate communal arrangements for children's activities and supervision and will have a room near the dance hall where children can crash in the evening.

Partial work scholarships will be available.

• Please send a deposit of $50 for each camper over 6 years.
• We must receive the balance by August 12th.
• If you cancel before August 24th, all but $50 will be refunded. Thereafter, the entire camp fee might be retained.
